It’s easy to see why Spain’s northernmost Costa, the Costa Brava, remains so popular with coach holidaymakers.
With a spectacular coastline made up of dramatic cliffs and secluded coves framed by towering pines and only interrupted by pretty harbours and seaside towns, the Costa Brava, which translates as ‘wild coast’, is the place to go for romantic unspoilt scenery, breathtaking views and some of Europe’s finest Blue Flag beaches, not to mention a mild year-round climate.
Coach holidays to the Costa Brava have something for everyone.
The charming medieval city of Girona is located north of Barcelona at the confluence of the rivers Ter, Onyar, Galligants and Güell, halfway between the sea and the mountains. Girona is one of the most historic centres in Catalonia. We’ll stay at a selected hotel on the Costa Brava (JG3 rating). The H-Top hotel boasts comfortable en-suite bedrooms, balconies, buffet-style meals and regular entertainment.
Your hotel will be confirmed approximately 3 weeks before departure, therefore we cannot guarantee that the hotel will have a lift and/or ground floor rooms and may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility.
Hotels with a JG3 rating tend to be a more formal style of hotel, often part of a hotel chain, or are very-welcoming family-owned properties. Generally, they offer a greater range of facilities and services, and bedrooms tend to be a little more spacious with additional features. Public areas are larger and include lounge seating, bar and restaurant with good quality food served either buffet style or waiter service.
