Lake Garda has been attracting visitors for generations, so take this opportunity to come with us and find out what all of the fuss is about. We will be based in the pretty lakeside village of Manerba on the western shore of Lake Garda. Although small, Manerba has lots going on with a great choice of bars, restaurants and boutique shops whilst also being famous for producing some delicious local wines. Dominated by its own fortress, which offers breathtaking views across Lake Garda, its towns, villages, vineyards and olive groves. There is a market every Friday and during the summer months there is even a small road train available to whisk you around the village.
Our tour includes fabulous excursions to Venice and Mantua, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Italy's true hidden gems. In addition, we'll give you a lovely tour around Lake Garda itself, where you'll find that there is a surprising amount to discover and enjoy. There will also be a Welcome Drink on arrival in Italy and a delicious gala dinner on one evening whilst on Lake Garda.
There will be comfortable overnight stops at hotels in France or Germany en route in both directions and we know that, whether you know it or not yet, you're just going to love this part of Italy!

We're sorry, but there is a local tourist tax that has to be paid in resort by all visitors to Italy during their stay. The cost is EUR1.50 per person per day.
Visit the most romantic city in the world. This fabulous floating city has a host of famous sights; visit the Doge’s Palace, the Bridge of Sighs or the Rialto Bridge. Or simply explore the narrow streets, enjoy a little shopping and watch the world go by from a pavement café in St Mark’s Square. Please note that the bus boat into Venice is extra and payable locally.
Sit back and relax as you take a scenic drive around the beautiful and diverse lakeside towns of Lake Garda including the stylish resort of Salò. If Sirmione with its picture book castle is the most stunning of all the towns on the lake, then Peschiera is one of its most historic, sitting within the walls of an impressive island fortress, surrounded by canals and dotted with bridges.
This truly is one of Italy's hidden gems and that should mean you'll avoid the biggest crowds! It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008 on the basis of its stunning Renaissance architecture and history, virtually all of which has been beautifully preserved. Indeed, the city was originally built as a royal court and now extends over 3 clear lakes which were created hundreds of years ago as part of the city's defenses. The can give Mantua the unique visual impression of springing from the water as if it were a tiny, inland Venice. The city has a whole host of wonderful historic buildings , boutique shops, restaurants, bars and much more. certainly more than we can do justice to here. Just come along with us and see why we think this is a fabulous addition to our excursion programme...
