Enjoy beautiful lakeside scenery combined with an outstanding Alpine experience on this All-Inclusive holiday.
Today on our included excursion we first visit Arona, where you will have time at leisure to enjoy the grand architecture and cosmopolitan atmosphere. We continue to Lake Maggiore and the resort of Baveno.
Here we take a short boat ride on the lake which takes us to the opulent resort town of Stresa. We sail past the beautiful Borromean Islands, which lie at the centre of the lake and are fine examples of natural beauty enhanced by landscaped gardens and parks.Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today, for those passengers who have pre-booked, our optional excursion takes you to the world famous resort of St. Moritz. Sporting life has always been an important part of St. Moritz, and over 100 years ago the first British visitors used to stage toboggan races in the streets. There will be a short amount of time for you to explore before we board the Bernina Region Railway and cross one of the highest railroad lines in the Alps. As we approach the Swiss / Italian border, we travel over the Brusio spiral viaduct, an amazing feat of engineering that allows the train to gradually descend 20 metres in a relatively short distance. We arrive in Tirano, a quaint Italian town, where we spend a short amount of free time before returning to our hotel. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
