Motts Travel is one of the largest operators of luxury coaches in the county of Buckinghamshire. Based now in the county town of Aylesbury, our company was established in the 1960's and has developed into the premier operator in the area. Our distinctive coaches with their colourful liveries have become a fixture around the roads in the area; our trade mark has become synonymous with reliability and quality.
In 2005 Motts Travel finally realized one of its main ambitions - to relocate its three depots into one purpose built site in Aylesbury. This happened in May this year when we moved to our fantastic, state of the art coach depot in the Stocklake area of Aylesbury town.
The implications of the move to one purpose built site have already proved very beneficial to the company's operations.
It marks an exciting new beginning for the firm after many years searching for a suitable site in order to create a modern depot with all the features needed to operate a fleet of over 40 vehicles.
The 2.5 acre site boasts a customised 4 bay workshop, an office building, parking for up to 50 coaches and 30 cars. The state-of-the-art workshop has rolling road and brake testing facilities and a fully ventilated paint-spraying bay with pit. Adjacent to the workshop is a fully automated coach wash capable of producing sparkling vehicles in minutes.
The office building accommodates a large reception area, downstairs office space, a traffic office, 3 management offices, a drivers room, an accounting office and a board room.
The new development is complimented well by our holiday shop situated in Buckingham Street, Aylesbury (opposite Sainsbury) which offers day trips, short breaks and holidays to both individuals and groups
