Financial Protection Statement

The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations. Therefore, you will benefit from all EU rights applying to packages. The Tour Operator will be fully responsible for the proper performance of your whole package. Additionally, as required by law, the Tour Operator must have protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, ensure your repatriation in the event that it we or they become insolvent.

More information on key rights under these regulations can be found here [pdf]

If you buy a single travel service rather than a holiday then protection may not apply. Please ask at the time of booking.

Insurance

Many tour operators require you to take out travel insurance as a condition of booking with them. In any event, we strongly advise that you take out a policy of insurance in order to cover you and your party against the cost of cancellation by you; the cost of assistance (including repatriation) in the event of accident or illness; loss of baggage and money; and other expenses. If we have issued your policy please check it carefully to ensure that all the details are correct and that all relevant information has been provided by you (e.g. pre-existing medical conditions). Failure to disclose relevant information will affect your insurance.
